My wife took this picture from the passenger side while traveling along I5 north of Sacramento somewhere at about 70 miles an hour.

It's 22deg. F at 9:30pm and my cat brings home a duck tonight.. sometimes it's rock crabs..
I think he could lose his hunting license for this wanton act of nature desecration.

Are you going to try to save the duck? Or...eat it? ;)

the poor guy is dead. my cat grabs the neck, then twists back and forth. He makes a mess of sea gulls.

I called a duck eater friend to ask if he wants it. He said to throw the cat out and wait for another duck.. then he'll take both.

Hoot! This is a good twist on a sign I have in my garage...

Nope !
I tossed the cat out immediately to get another duck.. he'll sometimes bring home a couple of sparrows.

I sent out the duck pic on my e-mail groups. A local friend immediately replys that he just saw a big duck flock in our main street/ very wide center/ grass and trees divider. I searched for more ducks at 11:30pm/2 hrs post duck discovery.. didn't find any cat action.

My bride said that she read in the paper that Bald Eagles have been spotted in Manhattan.. and that they are being driven by the big storms. There were 3 or 4 confirmed sightings.

anybody need a dead duck ?
