Whoah whoah whoah, what's this hunting bear with _guns_ business? I know a number of people who hunt bear with bows -- now that's a scary thing! Sure, you've got plenty of stopping power, but only once. You miss, or don't get the critical point, you can kiss your happy-mule goodbye. Wish I had a great OT pic of my friend pointing at a bear footprint the length of his arm for ya ...
