Close, they're both nick-named "iceman"

BTW, here's a hint:
That unknown woman in the other picture I posted (post 27260) played a supporting role in the same movie.

I built one (OK more than one) just like this, except the oil pan was much bigger, the displacement was 417, but it had the Joe hunt magneto and blower and dual 660 center squirter carbs that were bored out to almost 850 cfm each.

Blower was teflon stripped and was overdriven and made 18 psi boost at redline, and the static compression was 9 to one. Crazy power. Broke aluminum rods, so went to chrome-moly mickey thompson rods and broke them.

7800 rpm might have been a little too much but I was 24!

I should have known I was bringing a knife to a gunfight. Reminds me of a t-shirt my brother bought when he was 12 and was able to wear it for about 1 hour until mom saw it....."Injection is nice but I'd rather be blown!"

Not one of my brother's stellar moments in life.

Not one of my brother's stellar moments in life.
I'd be all puffed up if I had been able to keep that motor alive. Darned thing made me real humble after I had destroyed a stock block, a donovan block, two cranks, three sets of pistons, two sets of spensive rods, etc. all in 6 events.
And I knew what I was doing!
I learned that pushing it harder than everyone else was not the way to beat them.
that boat taught me more about being a good engineer than any class I ever took.

Mandatory pic, My brother's plane:

Nope, Kelly McGillis played in Top Gun, not Melanie Griffith.

I was thinking of the actress that played Goose's wife but I checked and that was actually Meg Ryan.

"Kelly McGillis played in Top Gun, not Melanie Griffith"

Neither one is worth looking at these days, one is all pumped up w/ botox and the other is "twenty miles of rocky road', what a waste.

What? You're saying movies are illusionary?
