No, "Flipper" was filmed at the Miami Sequarium, on KeY Biscayne, near Miami. I recall this because I drove by it daily on my way to HS. There was a small inlet next to the tanks where they could let the dolphins out to film and play.

That makes a lot more sense. I'm from the Clearwater area. I'm not aware of any place in the area like the place in the picture.

I remember Flipper was the first COLOR TV show I ever saw. Our TV set at home was B&W then.

I used to have a set of pole-climbing spurs and a harness. Wish I still had them, but also glad I don't. If you know what I mean.

The pole climbing reminds me of an upcoming event at the Columbia Tower in Seattle. Each year, fire fighters from around the world compete by running up the stairs in that building. 76 stories. In full fire fighting gear (50 lbs, I hear). The record is just over 10 minutes.

Pole Climbing School??? Vinny, from the pics of you I've seen posted on this BBS, I wouldn't think you'd make a lot of money pole climbing....but I guess if girls can do it to pay their way thru college, why can't you?

The most dangerous curves I saw are about half way down the page.
