Brillo keeps the drug from flowing down the pipe and in place so it can burn.....kinda like the flow restrictor on an oil line from the tank to the intake.

ah, well, i knew it was going to be someone's friend or such. he should enjoy the comparison: mick doohan is a legend in gran prix motorcycle racing. the zx10 is a nice ride, ~175HP, IIRC, and relatively light for that power. i ride with a guy that has one. he is wicked fast.
