Can someone please explain this to me. I've seen a bunch of cars with spinners that stuck out like this, everything from new Cadillacs to beaters. It looks REALLY ridiculous. WTF

The other day on the way home was the first time I've been able to catch this on camera.

Are these guys just really big James Bond fans??

Funny, maybe it's a Houston thing. I found this on Chron.com (Houston Chronicle newspaper website).

Spinners and spokes | Cars & Trucks | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

Apparently, this guy has seem some ridiculous spinners too.

They'll be banned soon. Just like hood ornaments....not pedestrian friendly. They be the latest Hooptie Wagon accoutrement.

Those wheels or extended spokes or whatever the 'f' they are would be illegal on Oz roads. Care would be immediately defected.
