Is that lint on your lense, or a UFO?

A UFO free sky. However, it's looking east at sunset.

The setting sun is behind our heads.

I forget the name of this, it's not the Northern lights.

I have another couple of 3 minute exposures with really odd whitish spots that might be dust related, very odd.

I saw some shooting stars, but that seems too bright and short (distance across the skyies) to be one, especially on a 3 minute exposure....

I will title this photo "whoa cowboy" at night there were a couple cars that went wide at oak tree in the dark that stayed in the dirt too long and started hitting some serious washboard and bounced really high, i saw sparks when a formula ford did it.

Here's the roller coaster, i wasn't able to capture the elevation change as much as I had wanted... maybe a fish eye lens closer to the track.

1 The sun rotates, so if you take a long exposure of the sky at night the stars turn into streaks. Especially cool if you shoot due north.

I assume you are working with a digital SLR camera. If so then the larger dots that you were seeing are dust on your sensor.

So it was Venus, the North Star or lint, and not a UFO?

I'm so disapointed.:(
