Started to raise the boat a few times since it only had a couple small holes at waterline caused by the seaplane barge hitting it during the storm. but everytime I volunteered to raise it, my father said get it up and I'll give it to your brother. so it still sits there in 10-15 ft water. it was a nice boat.
Sails from a 28' Catalina would be too big for my boat, but again you should be able to sell those easily. Just get some good pics and the measurements. Did the boat go down with the mast up?

When my boat was being painted, a whole bunch of stuff "disappeared". Winches, sailcovers, seat cushions, depth finder, cleats etc... I've been picking stuff up on ebay here and there.

That's a shame about your father's boat though. There's a 28 Catalina at our club that gets constant use by a group of fun loving hooligans. Great boat.

winds up to 200mph. sailboat tied next to seaplane parked on barge.. next to tugboat. floats on plane had a few holes punched and wingtip damaged. boat was floating next morning about daylight. mast broke off at deck and wires snapped. we went to check our apt buildings, came home and it was gone. we were not too worried about that boat or plane because a 10-12ft dia. 60-70ft tall 400 yr old oak tree snapped in half about 10ft from the ground and fell on the roof of the house. the whole house actually.

Do you see the guy on the boat?

Click the link I gave, people are in the water and they just might be hurt.

I don't think it would hurt his feelings if I said I've seen nicer looking Mustangs.

Somehow I don't think he was going for nice .:D

It does look familiar; those side openings are very distinctive. Unless it has a twin, that very car slammed into the turn nine wall at Pacific Raceways right in front of me one rainy day last summer.

http://mustangarticlejpeg1 < i sux @ the internet.

image was to be the article of my '67 fastback in grassrootsmotorsports.

I don't think that Prestons car has a double,

high h.p and rain = bad

as for pretty, yup I don't think that it was part of the goal

it was well done from the photos.

For the Volvo Ocean Race, the boats must demonstrate inverted flotation, minimal water incursion and ability to self right using the swing keel. So they drop the boat in the water inverted, four crew are inside looking for leaks, when things look OK, then they cant the keel and wait for physics to take over. I don't think the crew on the power yacht above were doing a similar test.
