In our deer camps if you asked someone to handle their spoon, to quote a very smart man, "I believe you would get your arse kicked"

But thank God for Texas, because they apparently need twenty rounds of the wrong ammo for hunting deer the size of dogs. But it does look cool.

wow. a guy posts a picture of a rifle and a deer and everyone starts acting like they are ten years old. play nice and post a picture.

nice buck, nice weapon. and that rifle would be just fine to hunt here, in utah. not everywhere has huge whitetails or muleys.

.223 legal for deer in Oregon, though I consider it to be a lightweight.

Semi auto legal in Oregon...

The only thing a game cop here would frown on about that rifle is the magazine capacity. Oregon restricts that to 5 rounds. I know a guy who hunts with an M-1 Garand...but he uses a cut down en bloc clips that hold only 5...
