A new way to store energy
A new way to store energy | News24

Quote:
Two researchers at the University of Calgary report in the journal Science, that they have invented a relatively inexpensive way of using rust to act as a catalyst for capturing energy through the electrolysis of water.

....................................Catalysts are typically made from rare and expensive metals in a crystalline structure.

A nanonet lattice comprising tiny titanium disilicide wires coated with iron oxide can be used as a catalyst for the hydrolysis of water to produce clean hydrogen for powering fuel cells, according to US researchers [Wang et al., J Am Chem Soc (2011) 133, 2398; doi:10.1021/ja110741z].

I don't get it , why then didn't they must make use of the opportunity to build the house with a basement garage... they could have had a bigger house, with the garage under it.
It just looks like a example of complete stupidity to not adapt the house design to the terrain on which it is built.

Greed, they just thought they could save on buying a different set of plans or God forbid actually hiring an architect as they should have done in the first place.
