Terrible tires. Certainly not good tires...

Looks like it had chains on the rear tires, but how did the right rear end up under the right front of the car?
Did the dip put the chains on opposite corners?

I think maybe it was moving backwards as it hit the fence and the rear tire fell off and the car slid over it as it was sliding backwards.

That makes better sense than anything I came up with.

How did this:

Turn into this?

No idea.... The funny thing is, the pest control service was at the house earlier in the day. So I guess they are impervious to pesticides.

Yes, I have read up on them.... total friendly pest... not harmful to humans but prey on other nasty insects (earwigs, bed bugs, cockroaches, etc.).

But my honey is having none of it... centipede's darting up the wall is not acceptable... also fortunately we only spot one about once a month... and apparently the only thing that kills them are the same non toxic things that kill ants, boric acid and stuff like that.

The shooter may not be that close... may be using a long lens... or, it's a tripod shot with cable actuated shutter.

That makes sense but I was wondering what agitated the snake enough for it to go "defensive". Usually the stimulus has to be something in close proximity. Overall a very cool picture. It looks huge...

Or he could be close and have a big sheet of plexiglass.

Or the snake is dead and stuffed by a taxidermist...
