I used to listen to Ladd a lot. Talked on his show many times as well. He and I often disagreed, but unlike most of today's big mouthed leftists Ladd would actually listen at least. And since we had musical tastes in common it was all good.
I heard him the night Reagan was shot, and I remember he had a lot of sympathy as well as insights into the mentally ill that need help - even when they are from wealthy families. Seems prescient today...  I had no idea that the Burner married Westwood One - what a great move on her part!

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....
