Goldie was OK, but I was always a Maryanne and Jeannie kind of guy.

I think they are looking very nice. Circa 2013.

The original "Scarface". He's also great in "I Was A Fugitive From A Chaingang". He was billed as "The new Lon Chaney".

Just saw "Angel on My Shoulder" from 1946. Anne Baxter and Claude Rains......lot's of cameo lighting on limpid pools of turgid eyes......every movie cliché was used. %^)

Clear and swollen? If it lasts more than 4 hours, seek medical attention.

Classic movies were so badly written back then. Sometimes it's painful to watch. Now they sometimes aren't much better....at least the special effects are better.

Always fun to see a camera trick from the 30s, though.....

It was not a cliche back then.

We watched the Maltese Falcon a while back. It is almost funny how many of the cliches are used but they were new back then.

The 1941 Maltese Falcon is good, but I prefer the 1931 version.
