Somehow, bailing out or riding it into the ground seem to be different means to the same end.

Correct, copied a bad caption off that website.

Air Cobra and King Cobra were mid engined, this caused some performance issues against other disimilar/conventional fighters. So they were regulated to ground attack duties.

That pic WAS definatley a Trabant.

I think the car passing the Lambo is either a Lada or a Skoda.

Yes, design was based on the big 37mm cannon in the nose. That's why the engine was moved back.
Was also the first US tricycle gear fighter.

My Uncle flew Cobras in the Pacifc.

My father (at 01) flew a B-25G in N. Africa for a bit. The B-25G's role was against shipping. As such, it was fitted with a big 75mm cannon in the nose. The gun was about 10 feet in length, and was loaded manually. Recoil was about two feet. He says it was pure luck if you hit anything. You see, the aiming device was a simple cross-hair bolted to the dash.

BTW: My father went on to fly a variety of fighter planes including F-84s in Korea, and F-105s in 'Nam. The man learned to fly in a bi-plane, and wound up in super-sonic jets. Quite a career.

other than too much makeup, bleached hair, and obvious insanity, she's perfect.

What?? SHe's wearing hardly any make up at all. THe hair is bleached, but hell, find a woman sporting her naturaly hair color these days. It ain't easy. Insanity?? Again, find one that's not. I dare you.

Perfect? dunno about that, but great for now or a couple of hours, maybe a week or two.
