Well, I guess it's a living....
|
You know a front wheel drive drag race car is like a rare wheel drive car with the body on backwards...

I was going to post this on the 911 board but I think it goes here,

Any more pics of that?

I found it on Samba and the only other pic was a side shot that didn't show anything good.

As long as we're on drag cars... Here's some pics I have floating around. The cars are not mine. They're from friends I had years ago.

What you don't see in the photo of the Jag is the full cage, narrowed 9" Ford, and wall-to-wall slicks. That's an 871 blower sticking out the hood. Under it is a 504 Chevy big-block.
The '64 'Vette uses the "low buck" approach. It's equipped with a 454 running a tunnel ram. Power is routed through a two-speed powerglide. Amazingly, It’s running the OEM four-wheel drum brakes. ('64 was the last year for drums.) Here's my brand new '94 T/A at the track. 275 hp LT1 running through a ZF six-speed. It was quick for a new car, yet a bit of a slug in comparison to my friend's cars. Then again, I had A/C, and little to maintain between rounds. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1156026242.jpg |

How many recycled aluminum cans does it take to equal one 737?

Those guys definitely had a bad balls-to-brains ratio. Pretty cool Bugatti, but not even a pair of goggles!
