The Army never seems to get it right. They show guys in the mud, cold, wet, dark outside and all seem tired and undernourished.

The Marines just add a knife in the teeth for good measure.

And the Navy—well, they show a bunch of guys together in close quarters smiling—Brokeback Submarine?

Then there is the Air Force - here's the Air Forces' New Recruiting Poster…another of the many reasons to wear BLUE!!!

Days gone bye...

Back when men wore ties to work and women wore skirts and aprons around the house, young lads would wash up for dinner and little girls would say please and thank you. Life was simple and honest. No drug abuse or gang issues, no AIDS or gay rights or abortion, China was a country with interesting food and folks who knew how to dry clean and the Middle East was the place of Laurence of Arabia.

With the space program in its infancy and new advances coming out everyday, the world was filthy with optimism and hope. Cars where big and bawdy and fast and sleek.

That was when son America was entering puberty and had a perpetual hard-on that was frequently relieved by a willing neighbor girl always ripe and always ready.

Then again there was the threat of Russia invading or bombing us and let us not forget about Polio and the race riots in the south....

DAMN! I must've joined the wrong air force...never seen anything like this on base! :mad:

Yep gotta love the USAF.

It certainly was a lot simpler, and I do remember having been a scared little kid having to "duck and cover" in front of our lockers in the school hallway during an air raid drill.
