Baz, my girls love that show.
There was a show awhile back about 'Roos , and it chronicled the hard life they lead.
I know down under they are considered pests, but they are very endearing.

..........during the last Ice Age, sea levels were much lower, and so many traces of ancient cultures may have been lost when coastal areas were submerged when the 'big thaw' occurred. ...............................

For most of human history on this planet — about 90 per cent of the time — sea levels have been substantially lower than at present, exposing large tracts of territory for human settlement. Europe alone would have had a land area increased by 40 per cent at the maximum sea level regression.

Oronce Finé 1531 World Map, with a very accurate depiction of Antarctica (labeled as Terra Australis in yellow on the right). Image Source: G. Hancock.

............Renaissance maps, with their theoretical Antediluvian origins, show parts of the Antarctic landscape not covered by ice. Hence he surmises that they derive from a time when Antarctica was partly free of ice.
