I had a teacher just like that in 8th grade. The worst part was that I had him for English and Civics. In Civics he made us all read "Unsafe At Any Speed" (Nader was his hero) and when I challenged him on it, he gave me enough demerits that I couldn't exempt my final exams. Only year from 7th to 12th grade that I had to take finals.

Bastard went on to be an editor at Saturday Evening Post.
