I think my nads just went back up into my body, no way would I ever be brave enough to try that kind of stunt.

Just being honest about it.

Those animals are up to 5 times heavier than me and a heck of a lot stronger, not to mention thick skinned and armed with teeth/tusks.

I watched the pig documentary years ago (damn insomnia) and it is pretty scary.
Long story short they breed like rabbits and we can't kill them fast enough.

And yes, I have also heard of guys that hunt them by baiting them out into the open, jump the pig, and stab it in the neck with a knife... not my cup of tea!

Feral hogs have a gestation period of only 115 days and reach sexual maturity in just 6 months. The population of this invasive species has the potential to triple in just 14 – 16 months and they have no natural predators. These non-native hogs are nearly impossible to eradicate and Texas’ need to protect its native wildlife and agricultural industries has reached a fever pitch.

Texas has over 4 million wild hogs running rampant, and the population is in direct competition for resources and habitats against native wildlife including some endangered species. Ground nesting bird populations are especially at risk. Feral hogs destroy ecosystems by over foraging, destabilizing soil in wetland areas, and upsetting creek or stream beds by way of excessive rooting and wallowing. This damage and destruction puts further stress on endangered and protected species struggling to survive in the area.

Recent studies have revealed that 75% of Texas’ hog population must be eradicated each year, just to MAINTAIN the current population – not reduce it. The Texas Legislature passed HB 716 in response to these devastating numbers. The Great State of Texas has ruled feral hogs a threat to the State and these hogs may be taken by any means or methods necessary.

If I could prevent myself from shooting myself in the leg or something stupid I might try something like this.;)

Texas Helicopter Hog Hunting, Feral Hog Population Control

Do you want to buzz droves of hogs 15 feet off the ground at highway speeds? All you need is a hunting license and a trigger finger!.........................

Every hunter is outfitted a semi-automatic AR-15, equipped with a holographic red dot sight and unlimited ammunition.

Fully automatic rifles are always available for rent by those looking to kick it up notch and get the full Texas experience. Once day breaks, it’s “game on!”

............Anyhow, Dane gets there, and he turns out to be one bad mo fo. This dude is "bound" (and I say that SUPER LOOSELY) to a wheelchair and has done more extreme stuff than I ever will. He scuba dives, HALO and HAHO jumps, etc. and now has added helicopter hog hunting to the portfolio. He won't let you help him with ****. No help with the chair or getting in and out of the chopper. No help loading up in the van. Nada. Moral of the story? Don't ever let anything hold you back. Figure out what you want, and go get it. No excuses. No complaints. Just get it............

I am told, that's the bloke that wrestled Tarzan in the movies. Just to clarify, the alligator, not my mum wrestled Tarzan.

Me? I'd be in a tree stand with my kit built FAL and a few 20 round mags.

My ex's daughter brought home a boar piglet after the sow was killed on a hunt. The thing was housebroken in a day. Would follow you around the yard, especially my ex and was pretty clingy early on. Eventually it got around 300# and would just fall over after being scratched on her chin for a few minutes. Sadly, she became sausage.

So whatever happened to the piglet?
