We had a 100 year snowfall last Thursday. Snowed about 18" in less than 6 hours. Down at the Lake boat docks collapsed like a house of cards:

Okay, I'm on a major transit project in L.A. Our crews were working in the streets near a park and this duck would come out EVERYday and hang with the crew. If they were talking he'd stand and watch the back-and-forth of the conversation, like he was waiting to interject. If someone was supervising a work operation, he'd stand next to them and supervise too - watch the work, not the guy he was standing next to. At lunch he would hang with the guys and they would feed him. He was a trip.

Funny, the guys started calling him "Ben" as in Affleck i.e. AFLAC. He was around so long it was standard, "Anyone seen Ben this morning?"

What tires?

efhughes3 12-06-2006 09:03 AM

Advan Neovas. Free, courtesy of a certificate I got from PCA/Yokohama for being the furthest Porsche driven to the Houston GP Porsche Corral back in May. A total of 300 miles each way for $900 worth of rubber, not a bad deal.

Craig 930 RS 12-06-2006 09:12 AM

Those are absolutely incredible tires.

C&D/Tire Rack test:
"On dry pavement, the Yokohama (Neova) tires put the cars in a postion to go fastest through our tests. Fastest in the dry autocross and the shortest stopping distances"

The BFG TA KD and the Neovas are about equal in the dry - but the Neovas are much better in the wet.
