I'd swear I've seen those with my Dad's home mntc collection of tools - and I thought they were used to wipe grout between tiles. The tips wear out eventually and by stacking them like that you just swap them in order to get a fresh tip. Google search doesn't show anything along that line though. :rolleyes:
