Exactly. It's in a lot of ways, more polite to hot-link photos from where ever they already exist online instead of uploading them to Pelican Parts, and that way they bypass the PP 800 pixel width limitation.
The problem is that some photos on the 'Net are ENORMOUS, and don't display well on the monitors of most mortals. My PC is set to 1920x1200, so they are mostly OK for me, but I have an extension for Firefox that allows me to zoom/shrink images without affecting the rest of the webpage that they are on.
