Just my generalized experience. Some pages take ages to load. Every bit counts. Such as that 16MB yogi bear gif. Some people here in the USA have expensive and crappy ISPs...which can't be fixed easily. But I'm not the internet police, my friend. (WB included. I've been in total awe of your great work. Keep on keeping on.) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1571095601.jpg |
100 mb animated gifs here on this thread?
can you show me an example of that? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1571101845.jpg |

I just now noticed this little banner between every single post - seriously?

The above images were on my desktop but wouldn't upload to Pelican Parts.
It worked after resizing them. There is hidden tracking script contained in the image which tries to transfer directly from imjur/mediagiphy. (I've got javascript blocked w/NoScript) So despite the image being on my computer, the image is still controlled by a remote website. Is this starting to be a trend with all file types on the internet? Download and store something on your computer. But viewing/sharing/using them will require remote permissions first? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1571152663.jpg |
