Dot,

Your close. We did a Duffy Lake run and that pic was east of Spences Bridge. Great day.

One more...

Under 30, how about under 40? I had to really look at it to figure it out.

I knew what it was instantly. I guess that makes me a museum piece. I used to just lay the disk on the table and use my fingernail to center it as the table turned.

Quote:
This is the White Hawk, an all-aluminum hydrofoil built in the 1950s by the United Kindom's aircraft industry for the express purpose of breaking the world speed record for marine craft. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Derwent engine, which had a thrust-to-weight ratio greater than one. It was essentially a rocket! It utilized a V-wing system in the front and a steerable single foil in the rear.

Quote:
The XCH-4, "The Carl Boat," had two hydrofoils in the front and one aft on a seaplane-type hull. It used two 250 hp Pratt & Whitney engines as propulsion. During US Navy tests, a helpful citizen called the Coast Guard to report that, "A seaplane has been trying to take off and undoubtably needs help."

Anybody besides me see the resemblance?
Someone once told me that this guy injects some sort of oil into his arms to make them look bigger than they really are. I don't know, but that's silly. If you are going to body build, focusing on one area or group over the rest is bizzarre. I'd think a body that has a balanced development would be the way to go. But as some others have stated, the guy's got issues, serious issues...
