If you ever want your lungs full of clutch, go to a track day where there are 30 of those things buzzing around a track.

oh yeah, that's right...even saw it in the car :o but still...the way it sounded, the shifting just wasn't clean and crisp. Sounded too much like an automatic. Bleh.

What's the point? Why don't people just buy a car?

I disagree. Some "good stuff" remains, it would seem.

I've got a pickup truck and if your friend wants his father's shop cleared out, well....it would take me a few trips but I would do it. No charge whatsoever.

Without a dought there is still plenty of good stuff, NOS 934 crank, RSR susp, ect, but all the 9&11X15 Fuchs are gone, the factory ducks, gone, the complete 935 engine, gone, and the list goes on:D But still a treasure trove :D

My 914-6 GT clone is getting closer:D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172077161.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172077198.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172077220.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172077238.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1172077345.jpg

Gary Stratton is doing the work on my car. There isn't anyone in Jax that I trust for rust repair, there is a guy who does incredible 356 metal work in I think Naples, his name is Jason, I'll dig out his info if you like. For more pix & info on the 914-6GT clone see my blog.

I've heard of Jason down south.... PM me his contact info if you could please...

Edit - Byron -I've got my old schwinn I got in the early 70s... want it? Frame is good, seat is good, "chrome" stuff is all rusty. We could maybe meet up at the shootin range in the Osceola Nat'l Forest? (Near lake city)
