The thread was the best during the long, long time that it was mostly unusual, funny, creative, freaky, random pictures that my 9 y.o. son and I would go through together, cracking up out loud most of the time.

We started on page 1 and worked through it every now and then.

It jumped the shark when it became just another "hot chick" thread like on every car board.

Shop Owner: We're closin' for lunch.

Customer: Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.

O: Oh yes, the, uh, the Norwegian Blue...What's,uh...What's wrong with it?

C: I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. 'E's dead, that's what's wrong with it!

O: No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting.

C: Look, matey, I know a dead parrot when I see one, and I'm looking at one right now.

O: No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage!

C: The plumage don't enter into it. It's stone dead.

O: Nononono, no, no! 'E's resting!

I agree, no more chicks, lets get this thread back on track. We can always revive the Grid Girls thread, or start a "I'd Hit it" thread like on another p-car forum.

Random..

I wasn't going to say anything for fear of getting flamed but it pisses me off that this thread is pretty much not workplace friendly anymore.

Nope, this is what happens when a soldier forgets to bend at least one of his knees when standing at attention on the parade ground. If you do not do this you will eventually faint due to not enough blood returning to your upper body.

Better not to ask me how I know about this. Was in boot camp in formation listening to the C/O address all of us and the next thing I knew was being on the ground surrounded by the DI's trying to wake me up. We later had a short class with everyone about bending your knees while at attention...

Right. Today we're gonna be Marching up and down the square.... that is, unless any of you've got anything better to do!
