no word in there about the one in Seattle.

they flew it to Boeing field, didn't need to bring it in by boat and tow truck.;)

now an outdoor exhibit at the Boeing museum of flight. drive by there a few times a month. lot smaller than i expected. there is an early generation jet bomber there that looks bigger form a distance. will try to get a photo next time i am in the area.

I much prefer this thread, hot, half naked girls or no to the threads about beheaded puppies and abused/killed 6 year olds.

The cockpit of Rotar (The Roth Air Car) was a tight fit, especially for its creator Ed Roth. Powered by two Triumph motorcycle engines, and weighing 750 pounds, Rotar was able to hover several inches off the ground. A Roth Studios promotional postcard optimistically claimed “there is a remote possibility that this will be the first car to reach the MOON”.
Photo collection of the Petersen Automotive Museum

In 1962, Roth built Rotar (for Roth Air Car), a bubble-topped fiberglass vehicle that, much to the amazement of car-show-goers, was not a car at all, but an aircraft. Rotar hovered on a cushion of air produced by the downdraft of two large fan blades, each of which was powered by a 650cc Triumph motorcycle engine.

I grew up in this house...

My parents bought it for $16,500 in 1963. Their payment was $100 a month for 20 years and they were in it for 32 years. It sold last year to the third family since my parents sold it. The price of the last sale was over $900k.

Sweeny and Todd, Reading, UK

It's what's for dinner when I'm visiting my professional kindred souls in Aldermaston.

Then to the Hobgoblin...

How did I miss this? My God! I'm being stalked! Reading in England is were I'm based, I have driven passed Sweeney Todds many a time (but I've never tried the pies), I have had a few beers in the Hobgoblin (I assume you mean the Hobgoblin on Broad street? Don't think there are too many other pubs in that area with the same name!) and I've delivered a few items to AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) in Aldermaston, fun place getting through the security checks I can tell you!
