VINMAN, where did that picture come from?
Thom, excellent work - you are going to want to keep this one. http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/art/2006_06_01_default.asp GE Aircraft Engine's Jet Engine Fan Blade (2001) that the museum acquired just before reopening in fall 2004. That's the composite fiber resin, polyurethane and titanium blade Last edited by kach22i; 04-18-2007 at 06:04 AM.. |

I'm not sure what my long-term plans will be for the ghia. I have so much into it that I'm better off just stashing it somewhere safe and waiting for the market to catch up to it.

+1 on the ghia... just recently you were taking a survey on color selection for the car... very cool car.... all it needs is a rough and gruff 912 motor

Sure, "back in the day"... but now:
On May 12, 2002, a hangar housing the Buran (airframe OK-1K1) orbiter collapsed due to incomplete maintenance. The collapse killed eight workers and destroyed the orbiter as well as a mockup of an Energia booster rocket. This was the only Russian shuttle to ever be launched.
