I saw REM at the Milestone club in Charlotte in 1981 - before they had any vinyl out at all. I believe I drank far too much that night.

The Police are playing Philly tonight and I have seen them in their prime years ago. Keystone raceway with Oingo Boingo and the GO GO’s. I thought about going but the price of tickets is a joke these days. I would rather play the album and move the cover around then pay 2 or 4 hundred bucks for my wife and I to go.

I saw U2 at the Tower Theater in Philly in 83 when they were nobodies 4 or 5k seat place.
