I think the only thing a hard hat might do at that elevation is keep a few bird droppings and the occasional small meteorite off their heads.

To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, at that point the helmet is wearing you for protection.

I'm studying a whole lot about radio waves right now - the last test is tomorrow. The joys of A.F. Comm. Is that really used as an antenna or is that just a warning light for planes? Even if that is an antenna, it's just a reciever... unless it's an isotropic transmitter. Maybe it's something like http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=581&ncid=581&e=10&u=/nm/20041105/tc_nm/tech_taiwan_wireless_dc hmmm. From a quick search on google, looks like that it is used for radio or tv. Like i said... isotropic. Break over. Back to studying. Cheers.

I made you all read that nonsense, so here's my contribution. This is from when I was deployed to Iraq. That's a bag of toilet paper rolls... Looks like it is in Turkish. I thought it was funny.

I don't know if this is real or not, considering how powerful programs like Photoshop are, but...

did you know that the actual name of the monster is "Gajira", but the American movie people changed it to "Godzilla" because they thought that's what the Japanese were attempting to say? It's true.
