The little stick figure in the upper left looks like he is running away before he gets his ear drums blown out!

I think that "in case" you actually ARE bleeding, that's the way to run for the exit

Everything I have read about the Avantgarde models is amazing. I lust after a pair of their entry level Solos for my living room. Price is around $8k for the pair! Ouch.

I heard 2 Klipsch full range horns in a studio and it was surreal.
I have Paul Klipsch's original Bell Labs papers from the 30's & 40's somewhere..

It's a folded horn sub, the bends create a longer path for the bass wave to generate allowing for a longer path for the very long, low bass waves to generate before hitting your ear.

Cerwin-Vega makes a really cool version of this design called a "Bass Quake" that we used to use for DJing a lot.

Sorry StevoRocket,
The "Home Computer" post was up a few days ago, and was busted as a photoshop of a submarine consol at the Smithsonian, with an old style TV substituted for the display in the upper right, a tetetype placed over the guard rail in front and a guy in 50s style clothing added.
Too bad.
