if you want to hold off a viper, just throw some water on the track...

The Shelby concept I just read about in this month's Car & Driver seems to be a better bang for the buck ride. Sure takes me back to my younger years to see these cars coming around.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!

I looked one over at the LA auto show. Very, very cool. I wish they had developed a GTS class engine to go with it instead of the supercharged model. Then it could run against the Prodrive 575 and the other medium size dogs in GTS.

This car looks so good that it should be an example to both Porsche and Ferrari (and BMW): Stick to your roots. Stay true to the original design. I like it!!!

However someone mentioned that it's cheaper and more powerful. Well hasn't that always been the code words for US sports cars compared to european sports cars? More powerful isn't always better. A low price of course is always welcome, if quality doesn't suffer that is.

Actually, he really hates air-cooled 911s, he loves the 996, it's in his top 5 of favorite 100 cars of all time (with #1 being the E-type Jaguar).
