Dems voting in accord with Repubs was a result of Clinton's (mostly) centralist views. Would they vote that way now? I bet they would.
Bush is the Democratic problem; not necessarily what Bush has done. Taxes, the war, etc. are hard to take back as if they've never happened. Getting Bush out is the main Democratic driving force. That's why a DC insider like Kerry will get the Dem. nod soon.

Edwards - The man who got elected to the NC senate and failed to serve out a full term. Has spent almost half his only term campaigning for another job.
How many of the common people that he champions can do that? I live in NC and I can say he has done nothing for the state.

Wising Up the Chumps
Quote:
Let's start: Howard Dean is/was a maverick Govenator from Vermont...he basically isn't owned by anybody. He started talking sh!+ about the war and it caught on....but when push comes to shove and it's about getting the vote out the Democratic Party closed the door and picked someone who they have in their pocket. Kerry! Dean was uncontrolable/ wasn't in anybodies pocket so he was OUT! Remember what ole Deep Throat told Woodward and Bernstein..."FOLLOW DA MONEY!!" Lets look at some of the others. Kuich or whatever his name is...he's a tree hugger and is supported by that group...a non electable nonenity. Sharpton...very interesting...he provides comic relief for this election and is completely unelectable...yet he is supported behind the scenes by the Black Cacaus to get the message out about Afro-American issues. Wesley Clark...a bornagain as a Democrat...completely owned by the Clinton faction of the Democratic Party. Then comes Edwards...New to politics....isn't owned by the establishment...who the he!! is backing him anyway???? The trial lawyers? Anyway he knows he ain't gona be the Prez this time out...his goal is to make a name for himself nationally. Will he accept the VP job on a losing Dem ticket....if he wants the support of the establishment in 2008 he will if called. Gephardt was owned by the Unions. So that leaves Kerry...Kerry is owned lock stock and barrel by the Kennedy faction of the Democratic Party. Kerry is the Gray Davis of Dem Party...Who is he married to the heir to Heinz Ketchup fortune...just $550M in the trust thats all. Kerry is attached to every Dem special interest group there is. Kerry doesn't pee unless he's told he can. Thats why he's getting the nomination, they pulled out all the stops. War record, yeah a brave man, until he joined Hanoi Jane and threw his medals into the river, miracliously somebody found them and gave them back so he could put them on his wall in his Senate office! Karl Rove will have alot to say about Kerry, so that even his own mother won't vote for him. Let's take a look at B & H Clinton for a moment...Billy had Pamela Harriman as a Dem fund raiser in his pocket or was it the other way around..thats old East Coast Liberalism, meaning money. Isn't it amazing who his Secratary of the Treasurys were...That ole Billy Bob oil man from Texas Sen Lloyd Benson and fresh from Wall Street Robert Ruben. Clinton said, to make ourselves electable we can't stand for anything but which way the wind is blowing today. That meant a centerist do nothing position. Clinton realized it's about power not idealism and the power of the Executive Order. Centerism failed in 2000 with the Wooden Mr "Internet" Gore and again in 2002 in the Congressional elections. So now the idiotlogicals are going to try the tried and true tactics of the past...to get out the vote. |

who are we kidding here? The Democrat party primary campaign is a dog and pony show...doesn't matter who wins, he'll be a sacrificial lamb. That's so Hillary! can swoop in on her broomstick in '08 and cast a spell on us all.
