Another fun day at the lake! Half the truck slid off the ramp and is now stuck, the boat wouldn't get off the trailer. Just a bunch of swearing from some pathetic sailors.

If the plate wasn't a dead giveaway, the Ferrari truck was a big clue!

Ah! Castle Combe, The very place that I first saw a 911 Race. Plus the first track I ever marshaled at (Quarry out) when I was 14.

BTW, what's the story there? Are the "Newbie" locals still trying to close it down? Are the old WW2 flight plans still on the wall ?

I have a big soft spot for Castle Combe, my first experience of circuit driving was their and I've spent alot of time their spectating.

The "incomers" are still a bit of a problem. Due to their whining the Combe lost their round of the British GT series (Similar cars and regs to ALMS & lMS) this year due to complaints about noise of last years event (the restrictions are now just a bit too tight).

Still I recieved my copy of the circuit guide about a month ago and there is still plenty of other motor races organised for the year, the future looks fairly bright for the place.
