Since my 930 engine project is just about done, I've got a little more free time (and money) so I thought I'd get back into karts. Here's a pic from last weekend. Obviously I didn't take it since I'm in the kart, but a friend did.

Keith - that is a fabulous shot - I love red rocks stuff.

Here is another one from Yosemite. Unfortunately the valley was quite hazy this day.

A couple more. Unfortunately the lab-mix puppy we got earlier this year turned out to have serious temperment problems that manifested early and seemed to be innate and incurable. We suspect she had either been bred for aggression and/or was mixed with something mean that likes to bite, as that is definitely not a normal Lab trait. So we found her a new home more suitable than ours a few weeks ago, and just the other day brought home this brother-sister pair of Australian Shepherds. They are awesome puppies, very sweet and smart.

Beautiful pups. We picked up this little bugger last summer; he just had his 1st birthday June 4th.

You're right about them being sweet and smart. Awesome dogs. Looking for a female Tri to keep our guy in check.

I only wish I had taken that shot, 'cause that would mean I'd seen that view in person . TimothyFarrar was the fortunate one, and gets the credit for that one.

I remember seeing the United States very early in its life in New York city. It was an awesome site.

Here is a history link http://ssunitedstatesconservancy.org/History.html

A few facts from the history link: Largest passenger ship ever built in America. The entire super structure was aluminum and this is the largest single order for aluminum ever placed. The ship could reach 20 knots in reverse and 43 in forward using 247,785 HP.

Try a circular polarizing filter. They're awesome when the sun is coming from the side. Photoshop can cut the haze to some extent:

My wife just sent me an email with these pictures.

She spent the weekend on safari in a wildlife & nature reserve in Zambia. She's trying to send more pictures but the african innernet machines keep bouncing her emails.
