That is funny. I don't think it will last long, though.

to the moon baby... another try... There is alot of crap in the air this time of year near NYC, besides the usual pollution, lots of pollen and it was a bit humid today.. The moon looked "soft" to the naked eye..

300mm, F9.5,exposure 1/180, ISO 200

I really dont have a clue... Im learning though

Tim, Good shot. Bump up the ISO! Look at my earlier posts and try and use those settings.

Or increase the aperture, or a little of both.

It definitely looks like the focus is a bit off, but that could be atmospheric conditions.

I pulled this up out of a pot in my backyard yesterday. There was several inches of leaves in the top of the pot. I assume that the root was looking for dirt by coiling into a corkscrew shape.

I think Im getting closer, air was a bit cleaner tonight..

iso 800, F8.0,1/90, 300mm

last night pics were freehand. I used the tripod and timer tonight..

thanks for putting up with my learning curve...

I'm heading up to Lime Rock tomorrow and expect the atmosphere will be much cleaner than near NYC. Will try some shots from up there.
