OK, maybe some of photographers with more skilz than I can give some tips... Slodave, Nostatic, Steve C, Mausram pls step up....
I took this with some old glass, actually a 28mm 2.8F Asahi Pentax lens, totally manual. I had to write a custom function to get the camera to work with an old lens like this.... I did crop the pic using gimp... ![]()

an old bed frame, a few other misc. parts and about 40 minutes with my welder and chop saw. the hardest part was drilling the hole for the pin that attaches to the mower.

I thought it looked custom, and well done at that. I also noticed there was no expensive green paint on it
![]() You didn't draw any plans, did you? Me have welder, not afraid to use! ![]()

plans....um...well.....not really. i kinda set the cooler on the rails to get an idea of how wide to make it but as you can see by the boards it didn't end up the right width. i was in a hurry (tractor race was getting ready to start!) and didn't have time to do it 'right' or get green paint. the axle is held by these galvanized clamp thingies i had bought at home depot some time (years) ago. would've been just as easy to use large bolt at the bottom of the 'v' i think.
Give me a pile of bed frames, my mig, a chop saw and an angle grinder with a flap disk and i could entertain myself for quite a long time. here's a seat frame i made up from other parts of that bed frame. needed it to mount my 'Nurburgring' seat from GTS Classic Seats. ![]()

When I see a claim like the one about the engine, I just have to wonder. I don't think there are that many DZ302 engines running around. I've seen lots of muscle cars being sold with "Corvette 327/350" engines, that when you check the numbers on the block, the engine turns out to be the stock engine for the car or out of something else entirely. Obviously in this case, it's not likely to be the stock motor.
Still, probably very fast and looks like it's well done.
