Thanks - this was shot with the big gun - Nikon D3 and Sigma 500mm. It definitely takes me a lot of practice shooting as well as in post-processing to end up with a few 'keepers'.

Gosh Darn Chris,

These are GREAT shots. You must love the birds as much as I do.

I have a ton of feeders in the yard and get a tone of birds. Hummers, all kinds of finches, Robins, gross beaks, phoebies (my favorite), toehees (sp?) and even a long legged hawk that I have yet to be able to identify.

Keep sending these. Looks like I need to consider a very long lense.
