crappy Blackberry camera pic's from last weekend in UK
that's an amphibious car. Although they still preferred a ferry for the channel crossing   I love these kind of roads, to bad you have poor overview of the upcoming roads, sitting in a LHD car, driving on the left side of the road.

Visited Aberdeen Proving Ground this Sunday - they are moving to an indoor facility in Ft Lee VA! Museum will be closed as of today while they move 60 pieces of ordnance.

I tried jump roping with a light chain today. It works but I keep going backwards for some unknown reason. Momentum of the chain too much?
 Good workout when out of shape like I am.

how would the momentum of the chain going in a CIRCLE cause you to go backwards?
if you jump straight UP and DOWN you will stay in the same place too. what direction are you facing? if you face north you will start going to the left? but in very tiny increments

Been a long time since I jumped roped, still getting the hang of it. If anyone teases me, I could wrap the chain around their neck.

April, 2005: Thunder Horse (largest semi-submersible oil platform in the world) being towed down the Corpus Christi ship channel to the Gulf of Mexico. In August 2005, an incorrectly installed valve and hurricane Dennis had her listing 30 degrees. Finally came on line in summer of 2008 and is now the most productive gas and oil rig in the Gulf.
These pics do no justice to just how mind boggling big this thing really is. Bottom picture, center right about 10 men are standing on the end of the yellow triangular platorm.
