Porsche Crest

Whew. I just did a preliminary pass thru nearly 2,000 photos from the weekend. There were many, many incredible cars present, including numerous 917 variants. In hindsight I probably should've kept my earplugs in more of the time.

I will be traveling for a few days but will start posting some pics when I return. I may also get my 914 back from the shop around the same time...woohoo!

Finest Golden Retreiver

Here's a shot of the finest Golden Retriever in the world..... IMHO!
Say Howdy to "Jake." This was shot on the morning of a rare Alabama snow storm, if you can call it such!

I don't have a build thread on this car, but I do have some pictures posted here and there in different threads. I have been thinking of putting together a build thread.

Can't explain why you didn't know. I am in St. Charles and will be welding up the front wheelhouse to the inner rocker tomorrow.

Send PM if you want to come by and look.

Cheers,
Alvin

Took my bride to the Grove Park Inn for our anniversary last week.

View from the brunch table last Sunday....

Sign outside on the road to the hotel...

Evening view from our room

Lots of green....

Thank you! You make me and his "mother" proud!
You're right, Jake's extremely smart. More so than most humans I come into contact with each day!

After Arrowtown and a quick excursion on the shotover jet...

... NZ's highest road came into view, Crown Range Rd, with no less than 7 switchbacks in the first few kms. This road used to be gravel and they wouldn't insure anyone on it with a rental car.

The views on this road are simply amazing and really do have to be experienced first hand.

It wasn't too long before we were above the snowline
