My wife bought a golf cart last week. It's a big hit with our girls and all the neighbor kids. It would not charge after a few days and I got to find out how expensive 6V batteries are...............

I thought the the "old growth" red woods were protected against lumber harvesting!!! Its a shame to see that .

Yes people really eat them... just imagine they are teeny lobster?

anyway... Maybe I'll start a thread of just pics I took in China.... an AMAZING country..

This is a salad of szechuan peppercorn greens... garlic, some hot chilis, sesame oil and vinegar... delish... and not spicy at all



this is fried miniature rose blossoms... again... delicious..

My wife told me that China has recently passed laws prohibiting sale of or eating dog...

Judging by how people there obey the regulations... you can still find it in places in south China...

along with Mule.... as sold in the Hefie airport

This dish is a specialty in Huangshan ( Yellow Mountain)

" Terrible Smelling Fish"

Not one of the better meals I had in China..
