The view from my office

Lake Tahoe on the NV side. I go there at least once a month.

SS Grid

A couple of picture of the SS grid at the end of the second day of competition this year at The SoloII Nationals in Kansas. Impound is held in your grid spot which is why all the hoods are up on the Z06's.

Amazing picture! Kinda makes me homesick.

I lived in Zephyr Cove for a couple of years before moving here to Georgia. I could walk out on top of cave rock, from my front door, in just about 10 or 15 minutes. That place is beautiful!!!

Thanks for the pic...it's my new wallpaper!

Question? Does the Cal-Neva lodge still exist? I stayed there for a weekend, and what a weekend it was. That pic of Tahoe could have been taken from the balcony of the room I had. Visions of the rat pack here...

Yep, still there!

In fact, it may be the white structure just left of center, in the pic.

Z-man,

The link shows the Alpine Slide at Stowe... it is lots of fun, but it may not be as zany has the above!

I've been on the Alpine Slide at Camelback, PA and Mountain Creek, NJ. It is a fun ride. Maybe I should go back this summer... But that Sommer-thingy - seems to take the thrills up a notch!
