Some pics from Sebring this weekend. There was an SCCA event on the short track:

I have no idea who these P-car guys were but for some reason I just started snapping pics of the red Porsches. I shot about 50 pics of these 2 cars and burned a CD and gave the owners the pics. Both cool guys and amazed that someone would give them pictures without asking for money.

This guy was giving this Vette hell in the Historic class, unfortunatly the Vette had way more straight line speed and could stay out in fron, only to hold up the Pcar in the braking zone and turn.

Another pretty red car:

I loved the back of this guys trailer. I think I saw this quote inthe skydiving thread.

Day of clouds.............

Taken through a dirty car windshield, big low clouds near the time of turbulent weather.

My hovercraft...........................eye and teeth layout recently reviewed and approved by a Vietnam Vet; Yes it would scare them out of the village and into the woods if you were also to fire a 20mm off the roof while rotating in circles when positioned in the middle of the river.

Frank Zappa in mid '70s, when he appeared in Kansas City, Kansas for a wonderful concert. Took this picture from the isle and then a friend enlarged and zoomed. Not too bad for an old Mamiya/Sekor SLR, 50mm, f2.0 lens, shooting 400 ASA, with no flash, just stage lighting.

Then a year later. Frank didn't allow cameras during his concert, so we waited for him to get into his limo and drive off. This was the second shot, since the flash didn't go off on the first shot as I passed him on the right. So we slowed the car and waited for the limo to catch up and then "click", another great shot of Frank. Check out the rain on the window.
