I love the crown shaft palms! Manilla palms are very popular here..as are Fishtails and Arecas (might be what you call Golden Canes). Here are some triple trunk Manilla Palms I used in front of a local church office: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465339274.jpg And some Fishtails I used at a local day spa..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465339449.jpg And an Areca at a current project we are doing.... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465339538.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465339652.jpg |

An example of Italian design from a hotel in Rome.
The diagram at first is clean, simple and not language specific until you try to figure out what it really means. Which arrows correspond to which picture? Are the stairs to the right? If so why is the diagram on the left? Is the elevator only for men?-why clearly show all men? And is it a good idea to mix up/down arrows with side to side? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465366113.jpg |
To be honest, the sign is totally clear to me (normally you read from left to right).
Stairs to the right, elevator to the left. Maybe we dont need that exact guidance in Europe, we are used to use our brain. (Its green! Its green! :D ) And nobody wastes a thought about the look of the icons IN the elevator but in America. :-) |
Yesterday I was behind this hauler of new Vettes heading to the local Chevy dealer. The driver had to make a U turn to get to the dealership so I got some profiles pics as I was making a left turn into Home Depot.
Six Vettes all together. How much do they sell for these days? Multiply x6 and that is how much $ on the trailer? ;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465519527.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465519562.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465519600.jpg |
Banner day for me as I picked up some Coconut Palms - something that has been on my wish list for quite a few months. They are plentiful in South Florida wholesale nurseries but not so up where I am but this nursery about a 1/2 hour drive away got some 30 gal. size in - about 12' height and very healthy - so I snagged 3 of them. :)
