One of my projects coming up is building a "nature playground" for kids at a local marine science center.

The first part of the playground will consist of a big hill with a slide and some other features including a pipe/tunnel that the kids can go through.

So I picked this baby up this morning.....tall enough to walk through standing up! I think the original concept was a 'crawl through' tunnel but I think this one will be whole lot more fun! :)

Over the weekend I finally got a chance to harvest and partially process the fruit from a mature triple trunk Ptychosperma elegans that I planted for a project years ago just down the street. The owner knew I'd be interesting in obtaining seed it......one of my favourite palm species.

Some of the seed I will keep but most I will donate to the local seed bank.

Beautiful golf course. Beautiful lighting. Beautiful picture. ...But the most beautiful thing of all is having the relationship with your daughter that allows you to spend an afternoon playing golf together. Good man!

With that said...I sure as hell wouldn't want her lie in that deep rough. I'd be 4 getting up and down from there. Tell the groundskeeper to put gas in that mower.
