At this weekend's DE. LS6 (C5-Z06) powered via a Porsche transaxle.

It's a lot smaller vehicle than I expected from the photos I had seen.

ultimas are bada$$. what's better than a car that mclaren used as a test mule for the f1? (other than a mclaren :D )

That is Karl Troy's bad boy, he finished 3rd in class & 6th overall in the 2006 Car & Driver Cannonball 1 Lap of America in it. He comes to some of our DEs. Cool guy with super cool toys:cool:

I don't know the full details and didn't see it happen, but I was told he locked up all 4 going into a turn, almost Effing up. But we all have bad days from time to time.

I do know he didn't run it much on Saturday and none on Sunday.

My nephew at Crystal Cove a couple Saturdays ago.

These are some well hidden falls we found along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We sumbled across them this past spring and went back a few days ago. They are about a 30-45 minute hike off the parkway into the forest. It was well worth the hike.

The top pool is deep enough to jump into, probably 7-10 feet deep. The middle pool was about 3-5 feet deep and the lower pool was 1-2 feet deep. Something for everyone.

Being at about 5000' elevation it was not too hot out, maybe in the upper 70's but warm enough after the hike to get a little wet. The water was cold.
