Cleaning up a pile of cardboard the other day, this critter scuttled out to see why I was disturbing his new home. Wolf spider. Relatively harmlesss but scare the poop out of you when they jump out.
Scraper is 9" long.

Nah. Just shepherded him off into the garden. We get lotsa critters in our garden. This was sitting on the water borehead a couple of weeks ago.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Looks like a Huntsman Spider I found at a friends house in AU. Got close to take a better picture and just knew I would scream like a little girl and drop the camera had the monster jumped at me, and I even like spiders. This thing was huge....
