All very true guys....you know it actually took me 'till the end of the day before I realized I was wearing one ankle high and one standard sock!

Installed some drip irrigation today working off the domestic water supply. It won't use much water so no sense in investing in a well and pump or a dedicated irrigation meter. Also, with the Hunter NODE unit, no 120v needed to run the valve!

I never mounted one of these timers above ground before. I like it!

Ha ha....good stuff, brother Bugs!

Speaking of bugs......followup to my post about the palm tree trunk in my front yard with the hole at the top. So this morning as I was doing stuff outside, I hear this bird call and look up and there he is.....the resident of my palm trunk! A nice Red Bellied Woodpecker! Man-o-man...this is great stuff! I LOVE Woodpeckers! Such a cool call and they are so gorgeous! And they eat bugs! I shot a few pics with my point and shoot but having this guy here makes me want to drag out the old 35mm with my telephoto and tripod!

I bought a windup music box on eBay a couple weeks ago and it was shipped the next day. The day it was supposed to arrive, it didn't. I checked the tracking number and it was still in another state. It took an extra week to arrive - and then I found out why.

I don't recognize this (as a) hazmat symbol, but apparently USPS did.....here's how the package was delivered...sitting on my sidewalk out front no less....lol....

That label must have been on the box from something the seller received.

Music box plays just fine...nothing exploded when the music stopped or anything.

Lol! Baz, the seller probably knows that his fragile sales make it in one piece when packaged in a box like that!
Not likely that the gorillas at UPS are likely to try to bust open a haz pack!

You may be onto something, Bill....opening all the extra packing and bubble wrap layers inside was not unlike going through all the doors with Maxwell Smart!

Nice boat pic, BTW!

Original photo, before being cropped. Taken at the National Gallery of Art. Looked so life like, detail, lighting, etc was perfect!

Cleaned out the radiators on the 986. It was about time, don't you think?

Then my little one helped me clean it.
