While teaching HEED(water egress training) for aircrews this morning, one of my students wore mismatching water shoes. Had to take a pic just for you.....said it was dark when he grabbed them this morning.

Speaking of bugs......followup to my post about the palm tree trunk in my front yard with the hole at the top. So this morning as I was doing stuff outside, I hear this bird call and look up and there he is.....the resident of my palm trunk! A nice Red Bellied Woodpecker! Man-o-man...this is great stuff! I LOVE Woodpeckers! Such a cool call and they are so gorgeous! And they eat bugs! I shot a few pics with my point and shoot but having this guy here makes me want to drag out the old 35mm with my telephoto and tripod! :)

I bought a windup music box on eBay a couple weeks ago and it was shipped the next day. The day it was supposed to arrive, it didn't. I checked the tracking number and it was still in another state. It took an extra week to arrive - and then I found out why.

I don't recognize this (as a) hazmat symbol, but apparently USPS did.....here's how the package was delivered...sitting on my sidewalk out front no less....lol....

That label must have been on the box from something the seller received.

Music box plays just fine...nothing exploded when the music stopped or anything. :D
