You bet! These were taken earlier this month at the Carrizo Plain National Monument, south east of Paso Robles, CA.

Love the flower pics, guys!

Today I replaced some Oak Trees that were damaged from last year's hurricane.

This is at a local Episcopal church. One of the guys who helps out there is a big Bama fan, and in fact went to school there during the Bear Bryant era. He's a really great guy and we chat football every time we run into each other. Today I asked him to smile for the camera and here's what I got! Rammer Jammer! :)

There were 5 Oaks all together. Here are 3 of them. I had to lean the old root balls against them due to all the wind and will stake them up tomorrow morning when it is less windy...

Hey David - how big/old are they? I bought my daughter a 2-year old Leopard Tortoise about 15 years ago. I took care of it for about 5-6 years while she was away at school and starting her career. It's back with her now in Louisville. This is Dave  The funniest thing is I would set up a small ramp with a stack of books and a piece of plywood - Dave would climb that thing, fall off the end, and circle around and do it again. 10 times in row!

SVRA 2016 Mid Ohio with wheel in the air out of turn six.
Camera: Canon 7d
Lens: Tamron 70-200 f2.8 non Optical Stabilized
F Stop: F14 ISO: 100 Exposure: 1/125sec Focal Length: 188mm

Lens is non-OS version of Tamron 70-200 and I was using spot metering which made some of the photos over/underexposed in this group. This Tamron lens is an excellent portrait and landscape lens but kind of slow for sports unless you bump the shutter speed up. I like to pan, so the capture rate with this lens on this camera was around one out of five. Not bad but not Canon L series IS level. Will either take my dust pump or borrow a 55-250 stm lens if I go to the SVRA race this year.

Assuming the light conditions aren't changing from minute to minute, you can manually lock in the good exposure and then they'll almost all come out good.

I took this iPhone snap about 30 yards away just before the tree break onto my farm

We have re-introduced them over the past five years. We now have at least 5 Rafters or Gangs.

All the locals in my area have agreed not to hunt them for at least another five years.

I have had a few pop up out of the wheat no more than five feet from me. Amazing

Working on my Mini Mac 110...one of the hardest chainsaws ever made to service the carb, because you have to almost completely disassemble to get to it.

Perfect job for a stubborn German!
